Close Range Combat¶
The Close Range Combat section covers behavior that runs after agents arrive near the target.
For basic melee archetypes, Approach & Press already handles spacing and queue pressure internally — no additional close-range behavior is needed. Add something from this section only when you want a specific near-target movement style on top of the default press.
Orbit Style is the main tool here. Use it for enemies that should circle, strafe, or harass from a maintained radius rather than driving straight in. Validate with a small group in Play mode, since orbit behavior reads differently on one agent versus a crowd.
